Meet Your Instructors
Patty Sanders
Patty Sanders began her career as a registered dietitian, working in hospitals in New York and Indianapolis over 20 years ago. Through this work, she became deeply curious about the root causes of health rather than simply treating symptoms.

This curiosity led her to become an avid gardener, herbalist, and body-awareness educator, and to recognize the essential role that nature plays in mental health, physical well-being, and community connection.
For 15 years, Patty worked with Purdue Extension, teaching nutrition education and movement-based wellness programs. In 2017, she founded Chicas Fit, inviting families to reconnect with nature through movement, play, and community experiences throughout the city of Indianapolis.

Patty has also been an active facilitator with Mujeres Conectadas, supporting women in cultivating holistic, sustainable lifestyles. She is currently enjoying one of her greatest joys—being a grandmother—and is delighted to pass on her love of health, nature, and vitality to future generations.

He creates a supportive learning environment where participants clarify what matters most to them and develop realistic, step-by-step pathways toward greater vitality, purpose, and satisfaction.
His work is informed by years of movement and somatic practice, including Aikido, Tai Chi, Capoeira, and Parkour, which shape his embodied, experiential approach to learning and change. Outside of his professional work, Michael enjoys long walks in nature and meaningful conversations with friends and family. These experiences continue to shape his belief that vitality is not only about physical health, but also about connection, purpose, and living with intention.
